Training is a core mandate activity of KVK Jalaun. The centre conducts a wide range of on-campus and off-campus training programmes for farmers, farm women, rural youth and extension workers — covering all major aspects of crop production, livestock management, post-harvest technology and agri-entrepreneurship.
👨🌾Farmers Training (On-campus)
Residential training programmes at KVK campus covering soil health, seed treatment, improved agronomic practices, pest and disease management, and water management for major crops.
🚜Off-campus Training
Training at village level — as recently conducted at Village Khajuri — bringing expert guidance directly to farmers' doorstep across all 9 development blocks of Jalaun.

Specialised programmes for rural women in kitchen gardening, food processing, mushroom cultivation, vermi-composting and other income-generating activities.
🧑💼Rural Youth & Entrepreneurship
Vocational training for rural youth in agri-enterprise, organic farming, seed production, spice processing and other farm-based business opportunities.
🐄Livestock Management
Training in scientific cattle and buffalo management, breed improvement, dairy farming, goat rearing, poultry and fodder production for Jalaun's livestock farming community.
🌿Organic Farming
Hands-on training in organic crop production methods, bio-fertilizer preparation, integrated pest management, vermi-composting and sustainable farming practices.
🌻Horticulture & Allied
Training in vegetable cultivation, fruit production, flower growing, spice cultivation and post-harvest handling of horticultural produce.
🧪Soil Health Management
Soil testing interpretation, soil health card follow-up, balanced fertilizer use, micronutrient management and soil organic matter improvement for Jalaun's soils.
💡Skill Development Programmes
ICAR-sponsored skill development training in food processing, agri-business management, value chain development and rural entrepreneurship for unemployed youth.
