Off Campus Training Programme at Village Khajuri

KVK Jalaun conducted an off-campus training programme at Village Khajuri covering improved crop production techniques, seed treatment practices, integrated pest management and soil health management for Kharif crops. The programme was attended by farmers from the surrounding villages and development block.

Kisan Mela — Annual Farmer Fair

The annual Kisan Mela organised by KVK Jalaun brought together farmers from across all 9 development blocks of Jalaun district. The fair featured live technology demonstrations, seed and plant material distribution, expert advisory stalls, and farmer-scientist interaction sessions.

Dr Vister Joshi on Agri Start-up — Doordarshan Kisan

Dr Vister Joshi from KVK Jalaun delivered his expert views on Agricultural Start-ups at Doordarshan Kisan on 22nd September 2023. He highlighted opportunities in agri-entrepreneurship for rural youth of Jalaun district, covering areas such as organic produce, seed production, value addition and farm-based enterprises.

CFLD — Oilseeds

Seed Distribution under CFLD (Oilseeds)

KVK Jalaun distributed certified quality seeds of improved oilseed varieties under the Cluster Front Line Demonstration (CFLD) programme for oilseeds. The distribution covered improved varieties of sesamum and mustard — the two major oilseed crops of Jalaun's Kharif and Rabi seasons respectively.
